Corporate wellness program offers decent benefits to the corporate and employees by adding value to the overall productivity. The improved mental and physical health of employees relate to better work culture and growth of the company. The benefits of the wellness program are the game-changing spectacle, followed keenly by many corporates now.

Google’s initiative– Back in the 90s, when Google began their operation, they cut through the drab monotony of traditional working style. They recruited best of the talent and provided the wellness programs. The programs included workouts & exercises, and other relaxing devices. Health Programs improved employees’ minds & bodies and invoked a great team spirit, which worked for the colossal rise of Google.

Benefits of wellness program

  • Working with Pleasure

The employees’ minds and bodies become stressful because of the repetitive and boring routine. Different wellness activities such as gym routine and other motivating challenges make them zestful and eager to get along with their works.

  • Enhanced Productivity

Exercising and suitable eating are the basic factors of a wellness program that relates positively to the employees. Their healthy minds & bodies carry a positive impact on their work and company’s productivity. The concentration power, energy, and will to succeed become their high points, supporting the company’s cause.

  • Job satisfaction– According to some studies done on employees with wellness programs and those without it had different results. The wellness program infuses employees with a feeling of satisfaction towards their jobs. If one is healthy from inside that shows up in the demeanour and style of working. A good job done always makes everyone happy and satisfied.
  • Enhances teamwork– The group fitness activities and better interaction instigate a community feeling. This works to form a healthier interactive relationship and a better teamwork. A well-knit team and the company always stand on the winner’s podium.

Wellness programs have everything going for them, a win-win situation for all, the employees and company both.
