Water Is Natural Appetite Suppressant

When the stomach feels that it is full, it sends signals to your brain to stop eating. Water can assist to take up space in the stomach, leading to a sense of fullness and reducing hunger.

A person might also think that they are hungry when they are in reality thirsty. Having a glass of water before reaching to eat can help to reign unnecessary snacking.

Water Increases Calorie Burning

Drinking water helps burn calories. Water also increases the limited energy expenditure of the body and the number of calories burned while resting. Drinking cold water enhances calorie-burning benefits because your body expands energy by heating up water for digestion.

Water Helps Remove Waste From The Body

When your body is dehydrated, it cannot rightly remove waste as urine or feces.

Water aid the kidneys to filter toxins and waste while the organ retains important nutrients and electrolytes. When the body is dehydrated, the kidneys retain fluid.

Dehydration can also develop into hard or lumpy stools and constipation. Water helps waste moving by softening or loosening hardened stools.

Water also assists the body to recover from digestive problems, such as diarrhea, gastritis and indigestion. When waste builds up in the body, people can feel bloated, swollen, and tired. Bloating at times add inches to a person’s waist.

Water Is Crucial For Burning Fat

Without water, the body cannot adequately metabolize stored fat or carbohydrates.

The procedure of metabolizing fat is called lipolysis. The first step of this procedure is hydrolysis, which happens when water molecules interact with triglycerides (fats) to create glycerol and fatty acids.

Drinking sufficient water is crucial for burning off fat from food and drink, as well as stored fat.

Water Helps In Workouts

One of the most critical components of any weight loss program is exercise.

Water helps muscles, joints, and connective tissues to move properly. It also assists the lungs, heart, and other organs to work effectively as they ramp up activity during exercise.

Note: There are no standard criteria to drink water as it depends on various situations. Like activity, age, body size, temperature, exposure to sun, humidity and health condition.

But you should try to intake 2, 700ml per day of water if you are an adult woman. For adult men, it should be 3, 700 ml per day.
