Sugar could be the reason behind the adverse skin conditions you may be experiencing. Acne is one of the most common skin conditions you may experience if you are eating too much sugar. High sugar consumption triggers the secretion of androgen which results in acne. It also contributes to added oil production and inflammation. So, keep a tab on your sugar consumption for healthy skin.

You feel tired throughout the day

If you feel that you do not have sufficient energy to finish your daily tasks, then you can blame your sugar consumption. An enhanced level of sugar in your diet could drop your energy levels. When you eat foods high in sugar, your energy level goes up drastically which is followed by a sudden dip in energy. Since several foods high in sugar are nutrition deficient, the energy level is not able to sustain for a longer time. You might experience difficulty in finishing your workout session and other daily chores.

Because of the lack of nutrients in sugar-based products, you might feel hungry more often.  Lack of fibre and other important nutrients leave you hungry which results in eating more. This contributes in weight gain. Sometimes you feel the urge to consume more sugar as a matter of habit.
