Drinking water helps burn calories. Water also increases the limited energy expenditure of the body and the number of calories burned while resting. Drinking cold water enhances calorie-burning benefits because your body expands energy by heating up water for digestion.

Water Helps Remove Waste From The Body

When your body is dehydrated, it cannot rightly remove waste as urine or feces.

Water aid the kidneys to filter toxins and waste while the organ retains important nutrients and electrolytes. When the body is dehydrated, the kidneys retain fluid.

Dehydration can also develop into hard or lumpy stools and constipation. Water helps waste moving by softening or loosening hardened stools.

Water also assists the body to recover from digestive problems, such as diarrhea, gastritis and indigestion. When waste builds up in the body, people can feel bloated, swollen, and tired. Bloating at times add inches to a person’s waist.

Staying hydrated is a good way to avoid stocking of waste, which could add a few extra pounds to your body.

Drinking sufficient water is crucial for burning off fat from food and drink, as well as stored fat.
