Here are the ways where you may be eating curd the wrong way

Try to avoid having Curd at night

This is because curd could strengthen the Kapha Dosha, which is at its strongest throughout the night. “An excessive amount of mucus develops when your Kapha Dosha is elevated, which may result in indigestion. That is one of the top arguments against eating curd at night. If you wish to consume it at night, add a pinch of pepper powder and a pinch of fenugreek powder. This is not very palatable but still a good combination to reduce indigestion.

Try to avoid taking curd daily

The curd is also infamous for being heavy and elevating inflammation in the body. So, be careful and refrain from eating curd every day. You can drink buttermilk daily as a replacement for curd.

Try to avoid having curd with fish or meat

Fish and meat are incompatible with curd. “Toxins are formed in the body whenever curd is cooked with meats such as chicken or fish,” So, avoid pairing curd with these food products.

Precautions for preparing raita

Cucumber raita and boondi raita are the wrong combinations to have. Cucumber and curd are two opposite foods in terms of their components and combining them in any manner will damage your system from within. The ill effects can be seen in the form of fever and skin diseases. As boondi is deep-fried in ghee or oil, it is incompatible with curd. It also makes one put on weight. A great alternative for cucumber raita is bottle gourd raita.

Try to avoid taking curd with fruits

Adding any kind of fruit to your curd is never a good idea.  Being a channel blocker that is incompatible with food, curd must not be combined with fruits. Long-term usage may result in allergies and metabolic problems.
